The delicate taper of the legs focus your attention upward towards the curly maple drawer front. The black walnut case frames the curly maple, highlighting both it’s figured grain and contrast between the two wood types. The interior utilizes hand planed vertical grain pine for the sides and back along with a wide pine paneled bottom. The exterior finish is oiled to add depth to the finish and is then top coated with a more durable modified tung oil.
